Cumpert_F01 'The Crawler'

This piece started from a tractor seat  found at a local flea market. The overall design of the stool takes visual elements from the tractor that the seat originated from. The low height reflects the diminutive size of the Ransomes Crawler tractor.

Each individual track is connected to the hub by two spokes, specifically shaped to give structural support whilst also appearing delicate in nature.

18 birch plywood track sections

Stainless steel hubs and spokes

Wooden core finished in gloss white
